Automated driving in a legal framework by and for people
PRISMA and innovation-oriented projects
Processing traffic regulations digitally in such a way that they can ultimately be followed not only by us humans, but also by automated vehicles? This topic, which we at PRISMA solutions have been dealing with successfully for two decades, has received a completely new drive in recent years. And we worked together for a year and a half across borders and in an interdisciplinary manner - in the project "lex2vehicle: bringing traffic law to the end user - the future begins now".
In June 2022, we presented and discussed the results of our research activities together with our partners and clients. This was done within the framework of our tried-and-tested format experTalk. The experTalk on the lex2vehicle project took place on June 20, 2022 in Mödling. For everyone who is interested in the topic of tension between law and technology, but also between public administration and industry in the mobility sector, the video recording of the experTalk is available on PRISMA YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8eHioyEgo8
After an introduction from the client's point of view by Hauke Fehlberg from the ASTRA Bundesamt für Strassen, Kathrin Hagemann from the IAV IAV Ingenieurgemeinschaft Auto und Verkehr, Josef Kaltwasser from AlbrechtConsult and PRISMA - Director Nik Widmann presented the project and its achievements. The legal focus was covered by Konrad Lachmayer from the SFU Sigmund Freud Privatuniversität Wien. The event was moderated by PRISMA Germany – Director Florian Hilti.
