In Switzerland, it will soon be easier to combine different modes of transport. Infrastructure and traffic planning will also become more multimodal. However, this requires a common database.

Such a basis will now be created with “transport network CH”. In this way, the federal government, cantons and municipalities can easily combine and display their existing traffic data in one system, even if they were collected for different areas of responsibility. This creates synergies and information can be exchanged more easily.
