Effective Methods for Drinking Water Conservation

PMC News Proline CE

Results from the PROLINE-CE project

We have good news from our project management team: In the Austrian test areas (Waidhofen/Ybbs and the region of the “Schneeberg” / Vienna’s drinking water) first effective measures are implemented to preserve the drinking water quality. Because land use and also climatic changes affect our water resources (quality and quantity).
Within the framework of the PROLINE-CE (2016-2019) project, which is co-funded by the European Regional Development Funds within the framework of Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE, 13 partners from a total of 7 European countries collected, evaluated and compared various factors influencing drinking water quality and quantity. With these results and the experience gained during the implementation phase, it was possible to identify effective methods to conserve drinking water and reduce the risk of flooding.
For example, where livestock farming combined with sustainable land use goes hand in hand with resource-conserving water management.

Our project management team has been supporting such complex EU projects for more than 20 years now, contributing significantly to their successful implementation.
