"PauL - Parken und Leiten" is going productive

Traffic management measures are becoming increasingly important due to limited road and parking space in cities. Optimal use of available space, taking its occupancy levels into account, is an integral part of intelligent and environmentally sensitive traffic management, a goal to which we at PRISMA are committed.

Parking pressure is also noticeable in Frankfurt, which is why the city has launched a new, modern parking guidance system. We are pleased to support the road traffic authority with our expertise and TRAFF-X in their project, the implementation of "PauL - Parken und Leiten".

Creating adequate data on stationary traffic is essential. Therefore, the digitization of parking space in PauL is a crucial and necessary component for efficient traffic flow distribution and more sustainable mobility behavior. This will enable the operation of a parking management system, which will go live in November 2025. By sharing parking data via the mobility database, real-time information on the current occupancy of parking facilities will be available. This will help prevent congestion at parking garages and facilitate effective traffic management.
