Influence of static public administration data on commercial vehicle navigation
Wednesday, July 3rd, 3 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.
Location: G - HS414
Chair: Nik Widmann
Away from dynamic traffic management and networked automated driving, the question arises as to how commercial providers of navigation data can keep their base of static data up-to-date across the board. Public administration could play an important role here. But is there any interest in their information? Which data would have what influence on vehicle navigation? The Province of Lower Austria, Here, TomTom and PRISMA solutions have already taken the first steps on such a joint path. A model that can set a precedent? We want to discuss these and many other questions on the basis of short impulse statements in a competent group of interested experts and jointly develop solutions.
The impulse statements come from
- Christoph Westhauser (Province of Lower Austria)
- Christian Kleine (Here)
- Franz-Stefan Weigl (TomTom)
- Torsten Schönberg (PRISMA solutions)
