PRISMA solutions cycled to number 1

National winner of “Austria Cycles”!

Whether it's a cargo bike, gravel bike, mountain bike or city bike: we at PRISMA solutions cycle a lot and enjoy it. This is not only evident from the well-stocked bike racks in the beautiful courtyard of the headquarters in Mödling. We also cycle together in our free time in the Mödling area - and even include cycling stages in our annual company outings.

With over 90% of the workforce being active cyclists, PRISMA solutions has now won the national victory in the “Austria Cycles” campaign in the “Companies with 10-50 employees” category. PRISMA solutions accounted for over 9,300km of the almost 34 million cycle kilometers cycled as part of the campaign. The placement as national winner also includes a bike service day for the company sponsored by the Ministry of Climate Protection.

In autumn, the federal winners of Austria cycles were awarded by Climate Protection Minister Gewessler. The certificates were presented in a ceremonial setting on November 18, 2024 by Section Head Mag.a Cornelia Breuß MA, Head of Section II "Mobility". On behalf of the entire PRISMA solutions workforce, DI Cornelia Draxler and Wolfgang Pruschinski were delighted with the top placement at the awards ceremony.

The aim of the nationwide participation campaign “Austria Cycles” is to motivate more people to cycle and to further increase the proportion of cyclists in everyday life. “Austria Cycles” is carried out by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection together with the federal states.

The campaign is enjoying ever-increasing popularity. The opportunity to track routes, statistics and personal goals via the web and app, and also to win great prizes, is motivating - as Wolfgang Pruschinski, employee of PRISMA solutions and board member of the Lower Austria cycling lobby, emphasizes: "First and foremost, we cycle for our health. By taking part in "Austria Cycles" we can encourage our employees to use their bikes even more. If our company also becomes number 1 in all of Austria, that is of course particularly motivating for us. Every bike ride counts!"

Last but not least, cycling also corresponds to our corporate spirit: the solutions from PRISMA solutions also contribute to the promotion of active mobility, i.e. cycling, in the spirit of the mobility transition.
