TRAFF-X calling – calling Berlin!

The city is testing a new P+R navigation system.

The aim of the Navigation 2.0 project is to create a continuous information chain, from the planning of traffic management strategies, their implementation and publication on the mobilithek, to the road users who use the information and organize their mobility accordingly.

The focus is on traffic management strategies that are triggered in specific situations. TRAFF-X enables traffic management to automatically implement strategies based on continuously queried values ​​(specifically, parking space utilization). Thresholds and time windows can be individually configured for each situation.

All of these benefits, which benefit the entire mobility system, are available to road users via an app. The app has been available and can be tested since the beginning of the week. Further information is available at:
