TRAFF-X® in a new appearance

New release for an optimized user experience

Software updates: these are often amendments in the system background and most of them remain hidden from users. Not so with the latest release of TRAFF-X®, the modular and web-based PRISMA solution for cooperative traffic management: the new features for optimizing the user interface and the intuitive usability are immediately apparent. TRAFF-X® has a new look, especially across modules, i.e. in the entire system, and offers many new features for convenient use. View options for different devices and elements that can be removed from the window ensure that it is now even easier to work with two screens. Only basic information is displayed in the start view to keep it slim and not overwhelm users. On the other hand, there are now significant extensions to the search and filter options for power users, as well as more options for observation and editing.

The current focus for optimization was chosen based on user experiences, which we continually collect as feedback - because we attach great importance to constant contact and support for our users. Conclusion: both users who work very intensively in TRAFF-X® and plan strategies and measures, as well as users who occasionally observe traffic, are equally served for with the new release - a technical balancing act that our TRAFF-X® experts Ulli Brocza and Martina Gottschalk managed together with the development team.

The new TRAFF-X® release was published at the end of June 2024, and was celebrated by the team. But our demands on TRAFF-X® remain high: next upcoming topics for optimization concern relation filter options, a new way of displaying object structures, a freshly coordinated cartography and a re-design of the dashboard for ensuring shortest routes to detailed tasks.
