Traffic data: better to share – share for better results!

PRISMA at the ASTRA VDP Forum 2026

How can traffic data contribute to better traffic management and reliable real-time information? This question took center stage at the ASTRA Traffic Data Platform Forum, held in September 2026 at the "Haus des Sports" in Ittigen.

The Swiss Traffic Data Platform enables the provision and exchange of road traffic data. The forum brings together the relevant stakeholders to advance the platform's use—serving as a foundation for new applications and more interconnected traffic management.

PRISMA solutions has been a reliable partner to ASTRA in organizing the forum for years. Florian Hilti co-moderated the event alongside Jean-Michel Henchoz from ASTRA. Presentations and a joint workshop provided opportunities to share experiences and generated ideas for the further development of data and services. Experts from government, research, and industry discussed practical examples from Switzerland and Europe, as well as requirements regarding data availability and quality.
