Using cloud and AI technologies for traffic safety

Today, traffic management operates within administrative jurisdictional boundaries in many places. Hierarchical boundaries also represent hurdles for cooperation. But open, cloud-based technologies can support common, cooperative and agile traffic management and generate immense benefits. Furthermore, such “borderless” traffic management helps to optimize the traffic flow and minimize its effects. On the other hand, this opens up new opportunities for sustainable mobility, as intelligent traffic management across borders supports the shifting of traffic in a variety of ways and thus also improves the offering for walking and cycling.

This and much more is focus of the event “Transformative power of cloud and AI technologies in shaping the future of mobility”, organized by Eraneos Switzerland, dots. & PRISMA solutions, in Zurich on June 5, 2024.

The ITS-CH network event is dedicated to the current challenges in mobility and the potential of AI and cloud technologies in traffic management. This is about finding innovative solutions to improve safety and efficiency in transport.
