Nicht abwarten, sondern wissen, was kommt.

We show you how to shape the mobility of tomorrow using PRISMA solutions today—illustrated by concrete use cases involving TRAFF-X in the areas of assessment and forecasting.

In a metropolitan region, occupancy levels for the next 15, 30, and 60 minutes are forecast for more than a hundred parking facilities—including parking garages, Park & Ride, and Bike & Ride facilities. These figures are displayed on a dashboard and map and transmitted via DATEX II to the national mobility data platform and navigation services, allowing commuters to know before they even set off whether a parking space is still available.

A major city's integrated traffic control center evaluates several strategic options—such as varying speed limits on a diversion route—before implementing traffic management measures. These options, along with a baseline scenario, are processed using a linked simulation model and compared based on traffic and emissions-related metrics. The option that best aligns with the city's objectives is then implemented.

As part of a research project conducted by a federal agency, the impact of measures in a small town—which lacks its own comprehensive traffic model—is being estimated using an open-source simulation. This makes well-founded impact assessments available even in locations where decisions were previously based on empirical values.

A railway infrastructure operator conducted a quality analysis of occupancy forecasts at a Park & Ride facility and statistically validated the results. Based on calendar, school holiday, and public holiday data, expected occupancy levels are estimated—even for the long term—serving as the basis for capacity planning and customer information.
