Not built on sand: the transport network as a solid foundation
With TRAFF-X, you can digitally and centrally visualize a transport network spatially and manage it across institutions. The digital transport network is the basis for routing tasks and also enables any information to be referenced using kilometering or other reference systems. The institutions responsible for the respective infrastructure remain responsible for the decentralized management of the digital data set. |
This is made possible by your centrally managed transport network.
Administration
Keep an overview.
You create a digital copy of the real transport network in your area of responsibility and can therefore manage it online.
If you have additional information to share with other institutions, all institutions involved can store it in a central system. The jointly managed transport network thus offers the best overview across all responsibilities.
Configuration
Adapt the transport network.
You can add or remove road sections in the digital traffic network you manage in order to adapt it to your preferences, e.g. as a basis for routing information.
Individualization
Supplement the transport network with additional information.
To ensure optimal use of the transport network for your purposes (e.g. delivery drivers, suppliers), you can add things like house entrances, logistics areas including parking space information or shortcuts with the least possible effort. This makes navigable but often unknown routes visible and available for your users to choose from. Additional local or regional information makes reaching destinations more efficient.
Regulation
Define preferred routes.
You define routes that can be used by certain types of traffic, such as emergency traffic or heavy goods vehicles, and thus ensure that they reach their destinations reliably and in a time-optimized manner.

Data on transport infrastructure and mobility can be combined with an integrated transport network and made generally usable. A project is underway throughout Switzerland to create the necessary, reliable data basis for this. |

Delivery drivers use their own transport network to make specific entries and to store additional information. |

A nationwide, digital public traffic graph was created, which serves as a traffic reference system for all types of traffic throughout Austria and minimizes parallel data storage. |

Deficiencies in the traffic infrastructure (unclear legal situations, danger spots for individual types of traffic such as bicycle traffic, or even overgrown traffic signs) can be reported directly and thus dealt with efficiently. |
